Bolivian Rose® Andes Mountain Salt is an exceptional and very rare natural mineral salt. Like Ancient Ocean® Himalayan Pink Salt, Bolivian Rose is mined by hand from salt deposits that formed hundreds of millions of years ago. A saltwater sea evaporated, leaving behind salt deposits that were slowly enclosed deep within the Andes Mountain range in Bolivia. The mountains protected the salt deposits from modern contaminants and preserved the broad range of trace minerals that give this salt its unique color variances—from pastel peach to yellow-reds and coral tones. With its gorgeous color and balanced, mild flavor, Bolivian Rose is best suited to fill a beautiful clear glass salt shaker (Fine grain) or salt grinder (Medium or Coarse grain) on your dining table, or for use as a finishing salt sprinkled on grilled meats, seafood, roasted vegetables and baked goods. A SaltWorks exclusive, Bolivian Rose is available in limited quantities.

Coarse grain: Bolivian Rose in Coarse grain is the perfect size for use in a refillable salt grinder or mill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great taste! I bought this sea salt for my fine sea salt shaker and I am very satisfied with it. I originally bought a coarse form but thought it tasted too salty that way. However, I am really enjoying it in my fine sea salt shaker because you don't have to shake forever like with some other poorly tasting fine sea salts. This salt has a superb flavor and I am glad to now have it in my rotation of salts consumed for my family's health! Thanks for offering it, SaltWorks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Life Changing!! Your Bolivian Rose Salt was recommended to my wife and I about a month ago by a naturalist formulator, but we had no idea we were going to see the changes for the better we would see so quickly! No other salt is so pure, nor has the effect this salt has! I never knew neuropathy was reversible, or that this salt would actually restore kidney function!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bolivian Rose I usually buy the Himalayan salt but my niece turned me on to the Bolivian Rose Salt (small grain). I mainly use it to cook with. I do like it, but I really do notice a difference, like some of the reviews indicate. I am a salt-a-holic…..and will be a returned customer!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bolivian Sea Salt I found out about this Salt through Salt Works and have been wowed by both its appearance (sparkling light pink; a joy just to look at) and its taste. I use it for cooking and for bath salts. Excellent service through Salt Works; just bought a 25 pound bag of "fine" grain

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice color and texture I got this because I had read good things about it and wanted to try an alternative to Himalayan and sea salt. I also have reasons for not wanting to use either. I think the Bolivian salt has a different taste then Himalayan. Honestly I would say it has a bit more of a bite to it, as in a sharper flavor. It could just be me but I picked up on some bitter notes. The bite reminds me of regular table salt. I think mined salts have a sharper taste than sea salts. This is a mined salt. I'm still going to use it but will probably try to give some away to family and friends so that I can try something new sooner than later. It's not quite what I expected but it's not bad either. Every one is unique and has it's own character. I compared the mineral profile from the spec sheets and the mineral profile is different. Bolivian is lower in lead and fluoride though they are all in trace amounts anyway. Next time I'm going to try the Peruvian pink salt and same of the pyramid flake finishing salts from Australia, Bali, and Cyprus.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibrant taste I wanted to try the Bolivian Rose salt. I’m an avid Himalayan salt user. Well, I believe I found my new salt. I really like the taste! It gives your food that spark, you don’t have to use, much it’s more salty than Himalayan.
