Salt and Pepper Prawns with Chili Garlic Sauce and Fusion® Thai Ginger Salt

Served with rice or salad, these flavorful prawns are brightened with Fusion® Thai Ginger Sea Salt. They’re even great as a tapas dish or appetizer.

  • 1 to 1½ pounds large headless shrimp/prawns, peeled and de-veined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce, or more to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Thai Ginger Salt, or to taste
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Slices of fresh limes


  1. In small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon olive oil with the soy sauce, sugar, black pepper, chili garlic sauce and Thai Ginger Salt. Stir until the salt and sugar are completely dissolved. Set sauce aside.
  2. Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil and then add prawns and cook until they are bright pink and cooked through.
  3. Remove the skillet from the heat and then stir in the sauce over the cooked prawns. Top with minced cilantro and additional Thai Ginger Salt to taste.
  4. Serve with fresh lime wedges.
