Herb and Sea Salt Compound Butters

Easy and delicious compound butter combinations are filled with herbs and flavorful salts to spread on grilled corn, baked potatoes, seafood, meats and bread.

Ingredients

  • Mint, Lime Zest and Fusion® Jalapeno Pepper Salt Compound Butter
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • Zest of 1 lime
    • ¼ cup mint leaves, finely chopped
    • 1 teaspoon Jalapeno Pepper Salt, or to taste
  • Rosemary, Smoked Paprika and El Dorado® Mesquite Smoked Sea Salt Compound Butter
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 teaspoon rosemary leaves, minced
    • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon El Dorado Mesquite Smoked Sea Salt, or to taste
  • Thyme, Red Pepper Flakes and Fusion® Wild Porcini Salt Compound Butter
    • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
    • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 1 teaspoon Wild Porcini Salt, or to taste

Directions

  1. For each compound butter recipe, combine all ingredients in medium bowl. Stir until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately. Spread on grilled corn, grilled meats or bread.
  3. Store in an airtight container or roll into logs wrapped in plastic wrap and store in refrigerator.
