Fusion® Spicy Curry Chicken Kabobs with Raita

A spicy mix of curry, cumin, and our Fusion® Spicy Curry Salt gives these chicken kabobs their Indian-inspired flavor. The chicken is balanced from the spicy flavorful rub, with the cool yogurt and cucumber raita. Juicy and flavorful, the chicken absorbs the marinade. This aromatic dish will fill the neighborhood and has been known to cause additional dinner guests, so be sure to make extra!


  • 1 cup Greek yogurt, divided
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice, divided
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Spicy Curry Salt
  • 1½ pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
  • ½ cup grated cucumbers
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon Lemon Twist Salt


  1. For the chicken: In a large bowl mix ½ cup Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, curry, cumin, cayenne pepper and Spicy Curry Salt; pour over chicken in shallow glass dish. Stir and allow to marinate in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  2. Soak about 6-8 bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes to help prevent burning on the grill.
  3. For the Raita: combine remaining lemon juice, ½ cup Greek yogurt, cucumbers, mint, dill, garlic and Lemon Twist Salt. Refrigerate.
  4. Heat grill to medium heat. Remove chicken from marinade; discard any remaining marinade. Thread chicken onto prepared skewers and grill 8 to 10 minutes or until chicken is done, turning occasionally.
  5. Garnish with additional chopped mint and dill, if desired. Serve with Raita.
