Fusion® Toasted Onion Salt

Ingredients

  • 2 large heads of broccoli
  • 2-4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1½ teaspoon Toasted Onion Salt
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons (or a couple good squeezes) lemon juice
  • ½ cup freshly shaved Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Drizzle 1-2 teaspoons of good-quality olive oil on a foil lined sheet pan.
  3. Slice broccoli into "steaks" and place on pan, turning to coat with oil. Drizzle with additional olive oil if necessary.
  4. Spread the broccoli evenly on the pan and scatter with sliced garlic.
  5. Sprinkle with Toasted Onion Salt and fresh cracked pepper.
  6. Roast for 20-25 minutes until broccoli is crisp, the stalks are tender, and some of the tips are browned.
  7. Remove from oven and immediately toss with lemon juice and Parmigiano Reggiano.
  8. Sprinkle with additional Toasted Onion Salt for full, fresh flavor and serve hot.
