Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you don't have this, hyou don't have salt! A very predjudiced statement, but IF you don't have this salt in your cupboard then you plain just don't have salt, period. It instantly becomes your everyday salt because you find that it makes all food better. and I MOST certainly DO mean ALL foods. If you want to get your friends guessing what makes your dishes so much different than everybody elses, this IS the secret! Only the best finishing salt anywhere. The vegetable has not yet been served that will not benefit from just the tiniest dash of this salt. Salads? WOWZER! Even fruits, fresh and canned come alive with a touch of alderwood smoke. Just be wary as a little DOES go a very long way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great salt I stumbled upon salish at a supermarket in McMinnville Oregon a few years ago, and fell for it hook line and sinker. This salt is on point for its Smokey flavor. I use it on steaks, chicken, even eggs. I love it so much, I bought a 5 pound bag of it recently, and never plan to run out. I Use it every camping trip, and everyone I feed raves about it. Best smoked salt on the planet, period! I went with fine grain, as it is very strong, basically powdered liquid smoke with a buttery profile, if that makes sense, lol... this is top shelf product, and you save big $$$ buying direct compared to the supermarket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just have to have it! This insidious product first entered my life some eight years ago and has become a primary addiction. Granted, Ancient Age Hymilayan is a strong contender, NOTHING, but NOTHING beats a the flavor of a smoked salt and Salish IS the very best.t seriously perks up the flavor of every dish it is presented to. EVERY meat, vegetable fruit and the old standby POPCORN all benefit from the addition of the smallest dash of Alderwood smoked salt, A little goes a long ways, so be sure and do not waste it, but DO purchase by the 5 pound bag so as to not run out. Soups and stews now REQUIRE it! The other smoked salts are quite fine, but the delicate flavour of Salish beats them all, hands down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Must have salt staple! Next to my stovetop is a tea caddy that contains sea salt (fine and coarse) and the smoked alderwood salt as well as the alaea hawaiian salt. These are my seasoning staples and guests comment all the time on how wonderful they are on the dishes I prepare for them. I use the alderwood for anything that would benefit from more of a smoky flavor and use the alaea for meats. Thank you for such wonderful products and my dinner guests often go home with a sample of each in a small plastic bag along with your website address!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smooth Smoke I personally like the flavor of smoked sea salt. I use it on a number of food items; salads, tomato sandwiches and meats. I make/sell a Smoked Salmon/Dolphin spread where I smoke the fish myself. I use the smoked alder wood salt in the spread instead of regular sea salt. It adds a unique flavor to the spread. I also use an alder wood smoke for the fish. I have been using this salt for several years and it has never disappointed me.

I use it on all the food I cook as well as on salads. I give it away as well. I am hgappy to share this fabulous salt with all my foodie friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Smoked Salt EVER!!! I have tried many different smoked salts, this is the best flavour of all. Smells like a camp fire! Love It!! I like to sprinkle garlic powder and smoked salt on any meat. chicken, fish, pork or beef comes our delicious.
