Artisan® Flor Blanca Sea Salted Caramels

Making melt-in-your-mouth caramels that are perfectly buttery and chewy sounds like a lot of work. That’s where this quick and easy recipe comes in! Get your caramel fix, with a dash of Artisan® Flor Blanca Sea Salt. The soft, chewy candy is the perfect backdrop for these moist, off-white natural crystals. The delicate crunch is the perfect complement to creamy caramel.

Artisan® Flor Blanca Sea Salt


  • 1½ sticks unsalted butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
  • 14 ounce sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Flor Blanca Sea Salt


  1. Line an 8-inch x 8-inch baking pan with foil. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and sugar, stirring constantly. Stir in corn syrup and condensed milk and bring to a boil.
  3. Decrease heat to medium-high and simmer, stirring constantly, until the mixture achieves a deep golden color and begins to pull away from the pan, about 10 minutes.
  4. Pour into prepared pan and sprinkle with Flor Blanca Sea Salt. Once completely cool, cut into squares and wrap in parchment paper.
