Fusion® Sriracha Salt Spicy Chicken Wings

One part sweet and two parts spicy, this recipe will soon become part of your football viewing tradition! And once it catches on, be prepared to make this a regular weeknight meal as well. The wings are quick and perfect with a side of sweet potato fries, seasoned black beans or baked beans. Plus they're grilled, a healthier alternative with no greasy frying mess to clean up. Add a dash or two of Fusion® Sriracha Salt to kick up the spice and you’ve got the play to please the crowd!

  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Lime Fresco Salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 pounds bone-in chicken wings
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons spicy chili sauce or hot sauce such as Tabasco® or El Tapatío®
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • Chopped fresh cilantro or Italian parsley for garnish

  1. In a small bowl mix together sea salts. Set aside.
  2. Place wings in a large bowl and coat with olive oil. Sprinkle with sea salt mixture and toss to coat. Set aside or refrigerate for up to one hour.
  3. In a medium bowl whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, chili sauce and soy sauce. This will be used as a basting mixture.
  4. Place wings on grill over low, direct heat. Grill approximately 15 minutes per side, basting as the wings cook.
  5. Remove from heat, transfer to a platter and garnish with herbs. Serve hot.
