Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Salt I live in Tucson Arizona and I have several olive trees. My wife and I pick and process our olives at the end of October and the beginning of September. At the end of the processing we soak our olives in a salt solution. The time involved for processing is about a month, We needed a good quality salt for the final solution and Trapani Sicilian exceeded our expectation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low salt content I discovered this salt at the Marsala Salt Flats in Trapani Italy and lugged 2 bags back with me. We tasted melon dried lemon juice and the salt sprinkled on to. Try the salt combined with lemon zest, fresh chopped basil and cracked pepper on watermelon. Because you can just barely taste the salt it is amazing the adventures it can take you on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Trapani Sea Salt I cure my own green olives, the final brine is salt and water. Trapani was recommended to me so I gave it a try. So glad I did. I consider my olives to be excellent. The salt took them up a couple of notches. Compared them side by side with olives done in regular sea salt and there is a major difference. Trapani is my choice from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Find-Trapani Stateside!! I first encountered Trapani sea salt in Italy in late 1990s. I would bring back boxes of it and hoard for the taste is wonderful. Rounded flavor profile. Not a bitter edge to it. NIce looking in the DR table salt bowl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Salt Maybe it's my imagination or palate, but there is a slight sweetness to the salt that is very appealing. I like the course grind, ideal for salads. The sea salt pours slowly and with some effort which is fine by me.
