Lime Sherbet with Fusion® Sriracha Salt

Easy to make, this lime sherbet sprinkled with Fusion® Sriracha Salt is refreshing & juicy with the perfect pop of heat!
about 1 quart
20 minutes plus 1 hour chill time
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

¾ cup sugar
Zest of 3 medium limes
¼ cup fresh lime juice
¼ teaspoon Sriracha Salt, plus more for serving
1 cup milk, preferably 2% or whole milk
½ cup cream

Cooking Directions

  • In a blender or food processor, blend together sugar, lime zest, lime juice and Sriracha Salt. Add in the milk and cream and blend to combine.
  • Chill the mixture for at least 1 hour and up to overnight. Place a freezer-safe container, such as a glass Pyrex dish or loaf pan, in the freezer to pre-chill.
  • Churn the mixture according to your ice cream maker's instructions. Transfer the sherbet mixture from your ice cream maker to the chilled container, cover and freeze for 1 hour or until ready to serve.
  • Sprinkle each serving with a touch of Sriracha Salt to taste.
