Cooking Directions
- Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut off the ends and slice the potatoes into ¼-inch wide strips.
- Place fries in a large bowl and cover completely with cold water. Soak for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight (place bowl in the refrigerator if soaking longer than 1 hour). Soaking the fries removes excess starch, resulting in a crispier oven fry.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Drain, rinse and lay fries on a paper towel-lined cooling rack. Blot with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a dry bowl, toss potatoes, olive oil, and ½ - 1 tablespoon Roasted Garlic Salt until thoroughly mixed.
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes, flipping once or twice after 15 minutes of cooking.
- Sprinkle with more Roasted Garlic Salt to taste and add Parmesan cheese (optional). Serve immediately.
